Can this be converted from excel to access

can someone help me find a sample access file for calendar matrix. I'm trying to build up a matrix. The user inputs a date then based on the program he chooses, a calendar should be created in a table. Thanks. This is very tough to be done, I'm going crazy.

Converting from excel to access

Here what I'm trying to do this is very complex to be done in access, please give me an idea if you have. Here an attached excel file that I'm trying to convert to access. Basically I'm trying to chart some combined data. If you look at the excel file there are two inputs user does. One: he/she inputs a date, this is the end date of the program. Two:user chooses program type. This will give the value I' trying to chart, there is a look table the user go to, to know that value. My problem in access is how to get the matrxi, because remember I'm trying to sum values for multiple programs with different dates. here is the attachment.

If you're going to do this in Access you need to normalize the data first, otherwise there's not much point in switching to Access

I"m new to access, could you explain what my step should be, what do you mean by normolize. I already created a table for Program type: it consists of duration per program and value.
