Can Grow Not Working (1 Viewer)

I set the can grow property for my text box to yes on a continuous form, but nothing is happening (it's not growing when the text is longer than the textbox).

I read the help file and the only culprit I saw that should keep this from happening is if the controls are overlapping, but there are no other controls overlapping with this text box.

Is there something else that could be causing the CanGrow property not to work on my text box?

You can of course use the built in Zoom box

I never knew about the built in zoom box (Shift+F2 in case anyone else stumbles across this). Is there a way to call that up through code, in case I want to assign a different event to do it? I have created similar boxes myself in the past, but it would definitely save time to use the built in functionality.
