Question Can you delete a Module?

I have tried to rename it as well.
 
Sure; right click on it in the Project Explorer window and select "Remove ModuleName..."
 
Just to clarify, though... if the module you're trying to delete is associated with the form and/or report then you would do so by setting 'HasModule' property to no in the form/report design view. Paul's suggestion definitely works for any modules you create yourself.
 
Good point; I assumed a standard module, and assuming is never a good thing.
 
There is something more than just trying to delete or rename the module. I found out that I cannot rename forms as well. WhenI open the db this morning I received error msg "the database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot be read. So I had to use one of my backups and everything work as normal. I could delete and rename just as useal.

So I guess my real question is how did I get this error?. Running on a network and this would be on the BE.

Your BE should only contain tables (and perhaps queries). No forms, macros, modules, reports, etc. Those will corrupt things.
