If so, you are less likely to be an only child. Interesting research into some traits based on number of siblings (if any) and birth order.

Do any of these apply to you?

Some Birth Order Findings
A First Born Child

– Tends to start reading earlier
– Tends to take more advanced math classes
– Tends to be less tactful

A Last Born Child
– Tends to be more altruistic
– Tends to be less tense
– Is more likely to own a dog

An Only Child
– Tends to start reading earlier
– Is more likely to learn another language as an adults
– Is less likely to be able to do a cartwheel

When I was a kid I could do cartwheels. At 73 (and counting), I doubt I could do a full one, particularly since I now have bursitis of the ankle. And I am an "only" so I guess I'm also partly a non-conformist.

I could do it when I was younger, more flexible and did not have extra pounds in the middle. Not brave enough to try anymore.

I was second in my family of three children. Very weak and uncoordinated as a child. Wanted to cartwheel then but no hope. Learning to juggle in my thirties improved my coordination a lot. Unicycling has been great too.

One of my granddaughters is an only child and is very good at cartwheels. She did dance classes from a very young age and her father's family seem to be genetically good at any sport.

I very good balance, especially on my bicycle (even with the extra pounds). So far I have no fear going up ladders and getting on the roof of my house. I just need to lose some weight to make it easier to get around.
