When you save an Access database and go to the location the database is stored at, you see a access logo and then the name of your saved database.
was just wondering can you change this picture to one that reflects the database for example a company logo?

thanks.

also i am stuck on a report if any one can help please see reports section :D

.
It seems to me with my limited windows knowledge that the logo you describe is displayed in relation to the files file extension, in the case of MS Access this is generally *.mdb although there are many variations.

I understand you are able to associate your own file extensions with your own programmes, however I doubt it will be possible to change the extension for MS Access and continue using it affectively. I doubt the terms and conditions for MS Access allow you to do this anyway.

Put it to the desktop, click right button of the mouse, click properties and
you should see chane icon button.

Why not set the icon in the startup properties? Not sure it's what you're after though.

Yes, Irish is right. His proposal is better solution

The dangers of not knowing the context of the question...!!!

If you are a very competent user you might be genuinely wanting to change the association of the picture in explorer. If you are less knowledgable you may find Irish and Boros reply an alternative that fulfils your desire to brand your database while not actually altering the picture within Exploer.
