Cannot open database because: The Microsoft Jet Database Engine Stopped the process..

I cannot open my database because of the following error: The Microsoft Jet Database Engine Stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.

I've already tried looking around on the internet and most resources tell me to look for an .ldb file... However, I cannot find it.

Then I tried a couple jet pack utilities but anytime I choose repair it gives me the same error message...

Any other thoughts? No one else has access to this database.

If you have created the database in 2007 version or higher then the lock fil extesion is .laccdb.

Tried .laccdb ...can't find that either.

Is it a split database, Front-/Backend?
Try to import all into a new database.
Else post your database, (zip it).

Hopefully you can take a look at it. BTW...I've tried using Diskinternals Access Recovery software and it is repairable...however, that piece of software is $72 and I was trying to avoid investing $.

Hi, I've look at it, but with no luck, sorry.
I recognized the file size is very huge, 909 MB (953.257.984 byte).
Do you not have any backup?
