Cannot Set Form Property AllowDesignChanges - Get Errors

'AllowDesignChanges 'is a new property to Access 2000;

On MS website, it says that i can assign a value to the 'AllowDesignChanges' property of a form through VB; http://support.microsoft.com/support/Office/InProdHlp/Access/acproAllowDesignChanges.asp

When i ateempt to change the property, such as with

Me.AllowDesignChanges = False

I get run-time error 2448 - cannot assign a value to this object;

Am I doing something wrong, or is this another Access 2000 bug?
