Cascading Combo Box using STATE and CITY

Ok. i was on here and got some help with a cascading combo box [ vehicle makes and then teh corresponding models.] I copied the "format" to apply to states and their corresponding cities. It looks like i have it all typed down right, but for some reason [I am sure its something i am overlooking] i cant get it to work. Its on my FrmDealers Form. I have the tables set up [States and city states,] the relationship etc. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? thanks so much!

And when posting a database for downloading, you really need to let people know that it's a v2007 file. Relatively few people are running 2007, and they're wasting their time downloading it.

For starters, the bound column on your state combo is the FIPS id (like NV) and the state name. Your city combo is looking for a state ID (like 29). You need to match those up one way or the other. Further, there are no state ID's in your tblcitystate, so at this point nothing would work anyway.

Ok, i changed the bound column on my cbostate to 1.. which is the stateid.. but still not coming up.. sorry it is v2007. I also fixed my tblcitystate.... there was no info in the copy i uploaded. any ideas? thanks!! i really appreciate the help! I have been going round and round on this all day!

You still haven't addressed my first point. The SQL of the state combo is:

SELECT tblStates.[FIPS State Alpha Code ], tblStates.Name
FROM tblStates
ORDER BY tblStates.[FIPS State Alpha Code ];

which doesn't include stateID.

Spaces in your object names are bad enough, but trailing spaces? That's going to be fun.
