This is a feature that i didn't know about.
It seems that you're able to change the default control properties by selecting a new control, not placing it on the form and setting it's properties.
This way the changed settings are stored with the default property settings for that control.
e.g. Select a textbox and change the font to Wingdings. Now when you select the textbox and place it on your form, the defaut font is Wingdings.
That is how i accidentally changed the font.
Each time i selected a textbox, i had to change the font to whatever readable.
Ofcourse not only the font can be changed.
I work with Access since 2.0 and found this one by mistake in Access 2003. Just when you think that Access doesn't have any hidden secrets for you.
Did you know?
Is there more?
Enjoy!
