Hi;
My problem is I need to use a query to change the name of my MS ACCESS database from "database3" to "testing".
I'm guessing there are other ways such as in the tools but I need a query to change it. Is this possible.
Thanks

Not with a query. This is a property of the application, not table data, so it would need to be done with code. Question is, are you talking about the actual file name of your db, or the Application Title (which would appear in the title bar when using the app)?

HI there, the name of the Database is the file name ( Name:database3 File Type: Microsoft Access 2007 database ) and also shows in the application title-bar. ( database3: database ( Access 2007 ) - Microsoft Access.

Funny enough the course I'm doing is asking to write and execute a SQL command to change the name of this. Like you said it doean't appear ACCESS has this functionality in its SQL.
