check box dependant on *like

I have a check box that has the following code in the control source

=IIf([Excluded For]="Arson",Yes,No) this works fine...

but it could be Excluded for Arson and defiance this wont be picked up so I need to alter it with Like but it wont work

=IIf([Excluded For]= Like"*Arson*",Yes,No) is what I am trying?

Any suggestions??

I'm glad you owned up so quickly as I was sitting looking at it thinking "I wonder why it don't work"
Syntax errors are a pain , we see what we expect not whats there all to often
