Hi,

Wondering does anyone know how to change the format of a chack box so that you can have different types of checkboxes to choose, image wise etc like the colour of ticks and size of the check boxes?

I don't believe these are variable, although in the properties you can set height and width, they only change the surrounding box perimeter not the actual check box itself

For some reason when I saw this thread the concept of being able to have customized check boxes became quite interesting to me, especially relative to the link to an article by Allen Brown as provided by vbaInet that explains how you can use the Wingding font to display various characters, including check boxes, etc,, in a text box.

I thought it might be of interest to others if I could put a small demo together to show how this concept might be implemented and used on a form.

If you are interested in this, please download the attached Access .accdb demo file which can be opened with Access 2007 or Access 2010. I have also attached the .mdb version for those of you who use Access 2002 or Access 2003.

Please post any questions to the forum so everyone can benefit.
