Check box not visible on report when printed

How can I get the check box to be visible when I print out a report. For some odd reason, they are extremely difficult to see - even when I make it 1pt border.

I have created a transparent box surrounding the check box, but the box is a little large for the report. (I cant create a box the same size as the check box, only larger)

Suggestions?

I know there are ways to resize checkboxes so you might search for that. I do know that if you want to resize a drawn box to a specific size, hold down the alt key while you are resizing. It lets you resize at a smaller amount of change.

It works for a lot of things, like form controls and such.

It was the CTRL key (A97)...

but worked like a charm!
