check boxes

Afternoon all

One extra little thing, I have a check box and a text field in my database. The check box is to show whether the document is here or elsewhere. The text box is used for inputting the name of the person who has it.
What I would like it to do is when the check box is de-selected so that the tick it removed the information stored in the text box is automatically removed.
Can anyone offer any help ????

In the After Update event for the check box enter:

If Me.[COLOR=DarkRed]MyCheckBox[/COLOR] = False Then Me.[COLOR=DarkRed]MyTextBox[/COLOR] = ""

Of course you will need to change the 2 control names (in red) to the appropriate names in your DB.
