No, he made a pre-trial diversion agreement that led to the dismissal.Technically it was an Alford plea.
Well, both of my kids are part of mankind, and they have resisted the temptation. (When I was young, I didn't - had sex with my girlfriend a lot prior to meeting my wife, and thankfully there was no pregnancy from that, although we were mostly protected - but even there, I tried to protect myself. I've heard stories of people who've had like, 4-5 abortions, it just makes you wonder if they've heard of birth control).Since when has Mankind EVER avoided abusing the obvious (or resisted temptation in any form)?
It solves like .... a dozen serious problems, all in one fell swoop.
I dont make fun of America or Americans any more. There's no need to.Our government SUCKS right now. Anybody like @ColinEssex who likes to make fun of Americans is welcome to do so now at my invitation because we deserve it at the moment.

You guys do know that an alford plea and pre-trial diversion are not mutually exclusive and are often taken together, right? No, he made a pre-trial diversion agreement that led to the dismissal.
I have been excessively busy Doc. I've read it and intend to redirect it coming soon. the side banter is not entirely off key and the folks are acting pretty much in civil manor.Reviewing the thread, I should point out that it has been hijacked a bit. @Thales750 - you have the right to complain or ask for it to be diverted back to the original topic. Or closed if you dislike it badly enough. I certainly won't close it on my own accord, but YOU could ask for that. It was your thread originally and certainly was a valid topic. On the other hand it has remained civil so far and I would MUCH rather not be heavy-handed on a civil discourse, even if it HAS strayed from its original purpose.

Yeah he had a lot of cool observations about The human condition, didn't he. As a kid I saw the movie A Connecticut Yankee and King Arthur's Court, as a young adult I read the book. The book was certainly a whole lot darker than the movie.I've seen other craziness in other nations. Your statement is a variant of a quote from the late American humorist, Mark Twain: "Man is the only animal that blushes - or needs to."
she is a little different, yes ...A question that constantly reiterates itself:
Is Gwyneth Pratrow a shilling short of guinea?
