If all the non-technical forums are removed, there will be no confusion and no need for a moderator of moderators.

Hijacking of a technical thread with a political comment is not unknown and has happened several times.

True, but the hijacking is obvious to everyone. No one will be confused. Everyone can "moderate". Non-technical comments do not belong. No one has to decide if they are political, religious, whatever, or even offensive. They don't belong. PERIOD.

Since this site is now on the radar of the thought police, it is better to be safe and get rid of all non-technical discussion. Not sure where the trolls will go but maybe they'll start answering Access questions;)

Personally, I am looking forward to reinstating the Politics forum once there is a change of government and a repeal of the Online Safety Act. I liked the free-flowing discussion, even if it got a little heated at times. Meanwhile, we have to exercise caution to avoid site closure.

I'm with you on that but I will not accept being the only one "moderated". This forum has become a toxic place and as long as the thought police decide what is and is not "hate speech", there is no room for me here. Others have made that absolutely clear and you seem to be perfectly OK with that type of harassment. I seem to be the one taking the blame for the Judas who reported the forum to the thought police and I am very upset about it. And the applause from the peanut gallery every time Doc "moderates" me is just that - harassment. So I can SHUT UP or leave. I choose to leave the toxicity behind.

It seems that you will allow free speech to some people by keeping the WC open. Too bad. Anyway, please let me know when you can delete all of my posts so I can stop the bleeding.

Pat, we have exchanged DMs on this subject. You know why I did what I did. I will not post any of that dirty laundry.

I wish you well. I'm truly sorry to see you go. But my reasons for doing what I did still seem valid to me.

Obama or Biden also renamed Mt McKinley back to Denali. Not to mention supporting the tearing down of "hateful" statues. The renaming done by the Dems is always to the determent of our founding fathers who they now consider to be hateful slave owners or to southern Civil War heros. And the Arabs somehow got away with renaming the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Gulf during the last Gulf War. Did you complain about that? You are very willing to be offended by anything Trump does but let the "thing" slide when it is done by someone else.

I don't even disagree with you. I've said several times, that I object to the name Trump chose. Gulf of the Americas would have been all encompassing and included Mexico since Mexico is part of the Americas. But, Trump was not feeling very loving given Mexico's collusion with the cartels in recent years and elected to pi** off Mexico. Petty, but meaningless in the greater scheme of things.

Wonder how many historical figures MLK Blvd replaced when it was all the rage for big cities to "recognize" MLK who the Dems seem to hate these days. Did you object to any of those street names changing?

Place names change all the time, sometimes for positive reasons, and sometimes for petty reasons. If you are going to sit in judgement of Trump over this, maybe you should go back and review a few frequently quoted bible verses.

Let me list just two of those bible verses that way too many people here have forgotten about.

Judge not, lest thee be judged.

Let those among you who is without sin cast the first stone.
I have reported this whole thing. Greetings.
