combo box broken ?

Not sure what that means, but are you running on 64 bit Windows?

Well, the one path in your references shows

C:\Program Files(x86)...
which means whatever set that reference was on 64 bit as that (x86) folder doesn't appear in 32 bit installations.

You can check by right-clicking on MY COMPUTER and then selecting PROPERTIES and then it should tell you in the dialog that appears.
 
Also, from your other error message, I would try unchecking the Visual Basic for Applications checkbox in the references to see if that helps. Boy, this is strange...

It won't let me

Well, I'm about tapped out for suggestions. I really don't know what might be the problem.
 
well its late here I am going to bail on this for the mo - and come back to it
 
finally resolved


I think it was hotfix that throw it

what I did in the end was to change the system set up back to a date that was prior to the fix -
now it seems ok
2 -.3 dayas of frustration - but ...
 
Computers, Access, etc. - Love/Hate Relationship :D
