Is it possible to create a conditional format that will change if the cell is updated after the original date the sheet was created. For example, this is for a employee schedule. There are codes for each shift and what happens is that associates trade with one another. I need to be able to know that a schedule was changed based on the formatting.

M T W TH F
E1 E1 C2 C3 E1

So if Mondays E1 changed to a C2, I want it to turn red. Currently the conditional formatting for E1 is to be green. So this will be a 2nd rule.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Isn't that what conditional formatting is all about?
Click the add button and add a second rule.

if you want it to simply be formatted a diff color for each code, then yes..... if you're wanting to to beformatted if its simply been changed, ....never tried that.

you may want to look into Track Changes on the Review Tab.
