Continuous Form control question in 2007

I have a subform in Access 2007, which was created using a wizard. When I click any of the fields, it highlights a rectangle that is larger than the field itself and encompasses the label above it in the Form header. It is like a dotted line around it.

What is this? How do I add/remove this property?]

It sounds like you're in Layout view, but in that or design view highlight the control(s), right click and select Layout/Remove.
