ControlTip Text Command

Hi, it seems "ControlTip Text" is not working in sub forms (excel like)? What other command can one use to alert or show a message to the user when they click or hover over that field? Thanks

Are you saying in datasheet mode? That is correct it will not work. However, you can create a form to look like datasgeet mode and then use Control Tips.

Thanks, but when i wil have the form as a seperate screen? I'n trying to work with as little screen as possible - i would appreciate your input and direction?

I did not understand your statement... What does the form in seperate screen mean? Making a form look like a datasheet does not mean it has to be bigger...

Hi, in my database i use the datasheet (like ms excel) method to capture multiple of line items per customer. In the datasheet i have 15 fields/columns. What i need to know is, how i can create a form to do above and that ControlTip Text will work?

You create a form making the text boxes... make them touch and then you can use Control Tip text, like...
