Point to where Trump has killed anyone with Bleach or Hydroxychloroquine...oh yeah I found one@AccessBlaster
I'll concede the word was used clumsily.
However when I use words inappropriately or talk nonsense, it doesn't have any impact on the population of a country.
Whereas every time Trump does so (which is frequently), it has a significant impact
Trump Is Not Responsible for the Death of a Man Who Swallowed Fish Tank Cleaner
Me too.I 'm looking forward to hearing the reasons that the numerous Trump supporters here at AWF will use to defend such uninformed, foolish and dangerous comments
Again there are NO numerous there is a couple sheesh, you guys see little orange men under your bed at night?Me too.
I had a long conversation somewhere buried in one of threads here about Trump and I was trying to tell that Trump is not a normal person to do normal mistakes. The whole world is looking at him and his responsibility is different, so he should be more careful when he opens his mouth. But everybody was saying he's a human and a human do mistakes.@AccessBlaster

Trump said what he said. He may have been too glib. But we need to also examine the context that many reporting on Trump purposely misconstrue (in a negative manner) what Trump said. Along those lines, Trump (being humorous) asked the Russians to hand over Hillary Clinton's emails. The press went berserk wildly accusing Trump of colluding with Rusia. Trump was joking.@AccessBlaster

That was me Tera. My point was that to hold someone to an impossible standard is, well, impossible. For me, you have to look at the aggregate, not individual things someone says. For example, Einstein said God does not play dice with the universe. This was in reference to quantum physics, for which he was very skeptical. Well, he was clearly wrong. However, the guy, on aggregate, is a genius, in particular in the realm of physics. People have strengths and weaknesses. They can also be right on things they are bad at, and wrong on things they are world experts at. The same for politicians. There is nobody out there that is all strengths. Given that, it is easy to criticise others for what they say and believe.I had a long conversation somewhere buried in one of threads here about Trump and I was trying to tell that Trump is not a normal person to do normal mistakes. I can't still understand their point.

However, if getting into the implications of using "words inappropriately or talk nonsense, it doesn't have any impact on the population of a country."; where is the public outrage concerning Biden, who could be the next US President?
Biden has made plenty of gaffs. It is well known that when it comes to women, he is touchy feely and has recently been accused of sexual assault by Tera Reade. The left wing press and various women's groups have been amazingly silent on this issue. Hillary Clinton, in 2015, made a big deal that sexual assault victims have a right to be heard and a right to be believed yet Tera Reade's accusations don't seem to be worthy of reporting or investigating.
So when it comes to Trump, the slightest foot-in-the-mouth misuse of language is elevated to a major faux pas mandating Trump's impeachment. When it comes to Biden, the similar abuse of language just shows his gentle down to earth folksy nature which makes him a man-of-the-people worthy to have his finger on the nuclear weapons trigger. Vote for good old Joe!!! (sarcasm)
Answer: CNN doesn't give it any credence, therefore it simply doesn't exist.Biden has made plenty of gaffs. It's called hyperbole, and yes most of the world doesn't get it.@Jon I understand your point. But as the president of US don't you think Trump's wrong and mistaken comments are too much? (comparing to previous presidents)?
Did you saw his interview about Korea and their solution with covid-19? He simply said "Nobody knows Korea better than me. Seoul's population is 300 million .......) Is this what a President supposed to say in front of media? He doesn't even know the population of a city and not only he talks about it, but he says I know better than you do.
And it's not the first time. I can give you a long list.
They thought him saying he was being spied on was wrong and mistaken.don't you think Trump's wrong and mistaken comments are too much?
Have you undertaken such an analysis to support your supposition? Memories fade over time, but I don't have any sense that Trump has been wrong or mistaken out of the ordinary.@Jon I understand your point. But as the president of US don't you think Trump's wrong and mistaken comments are too much? (comparing to previous presidents)?
Well, Trump may have given an incorrect figure for the population of Seoul, but then look at Biden's gaffs. Biden said 150 million people in the US died from gun violence. That's nearly 50% of the US population. So I hope, should you provide a long list, that you include Biden's gaff. After all, should he be elected, he will have his finger on the nuclear weapons trigger.@Jon I understand your point. Yes, I agree with you. That is one reason why in this recent episode he said at the end he is not a doctor. He knows he is riffing, and so he clarified. I think its the same thing about the windmill noise thing he said. He is just kidding, goofing around for effect. The haters want to take it literally and use that as evidence he is (a billionaire!) incompetent. So, often what he says is taken out of context and presented in such a way as to shed poor light on it. But that is just being disingenuous. Then again, politics is dirty. It's called hyperbole, and yes most of the world doesn't get it.
That is further evidence that supports my point: you cannot expect perfection in anybody. To do so means you do not understand human nature. You can say someone is a president and so therefore should not make mistakes. Yet that conflicts with human nature, where to err is human. A Buddhist would argue that there is reality, and our perception of reality. They are not the same. Dukkha, or suffering, can come from the mismatch between our belief about how things "should" be, and how things actually are in nature.Well, Trump may have given an incorrect figure for the population of Soul, but then look at Biden's gaffs. Biden said 150 million people in the US died from gun violence. That's nearly 50% of the US population. So I hope, should you provide a long list, that you include Biden's gaff.
