I would appreciate help: I inherited an old Access database, written I believe in Access 2003. It works in Access 2007 and 2010 (with permission to trust macros), but there's one problem: when I add it to new computers, it must be in a specific named folder on the C: drive with a specific name -
I have tried looking at the Autoexec and Switchboard macros, I've looked at the VBA objects -- I cannot find where in the old database the startup folder name is coded -- and I want to put copies of the database in a folder with a different name, perhaps on a network drive.
Please help me: how do I break in and identify the coded database path -- and eliminate it??
Thanks for your time -

If you post a copy I will look at it for you

can you get at the code in the database?

I appreciate all of your responses --
unfortunately the database is 3MB and this site won't let me upload it -
DCrake: perhaps I could email it to you?

Have you tried zipping up the file first?
