so i built my dads company a brand new db, after weeks of work ive delivered a perfectly functioning product, now i have just one little hiccup
the db is split into a back end and a front end, the back end is password protected, i have the front end, properly linked to the BE with the password saved on it so i never need to re-enter the password when linking the back end to the front
only prob is i have no way of directly accessing/editing the back end should i ever need to
theoretically i could create a new file, create new tables with the exact same names, recreate the relationships, copy the data/field structure over, etc but all of this is very time consuming and not ideal
is there any way of recovering a password for an accdb file? (compatible with office 2010-13), ive found a few free and paid programs that claim to help but most work with older MDB's and those that do recognize accdb's dont quite work (downloaded a few demo versions and tried getting them to crack a different db i created, for testing, with the very basic pass of "123", none actually worked)
has anyone ever managed to recover/disable a password?
