Creating a Macro to import excel spreadseet

Hello everyone,

I am new to access and know the basics, creating tables, forms and queries. However, I would like to create a command button on a form that will "import" an excel spreadsheet into an existing table without overwriting what is currently in the table.

Is there anyone that may be able to point me in the right direction. I found one example but when using the import method I found, the data in the existing table would be overwritten.
