Hi

I was just wondering if I could ask some general advice about crosstab querys and whether I'm going about it the right way?

I am currently creating a database which involves creating many crosstab queries for a client which are then viewed through reports via a searchform. Because the client requires to see the information in may different ways I have had to create a lot of crosstab queries (Fifty already and alot more to go) which I will then create reports for.

I am aware that this is a lot of queries and reports and am concerned that this will cause eventual long term problems. Should I be worried? And is there a better way to tackle this before I continue to create loads more queries???

Any tips in the right direction would be appreciated.

Thanks
Carrie

If you have a REALLY good naming convention, it helps. Can you not create a base query or two and feed parameters to them, and create the final queries off of that and limit the number some what? Having a large number of queries is not a real problem (don't know if there is a limit) but it sure makes maintenance a headache later.
