Can I put a crosstab query in a report as a subreport???

You can't put any queries in a report. You can make a reports from queries. If you want to make a subreport. Ex: Make Report1 and Report2...open Report1 in design view...drag Report2 in Report1...

Right, I am doing that but it won't let me put in a crosstab, am I doing something wrong or is this just not allowed??

we need some more info, how is the subReport related to the main report etc.

oh and by the way, if you just drag the query onto the main report the wizard will create the subReport for you, you don't need to create the subReport first

I've been told is not a good idea to place a crosstab query in report(subreport).

Ok, what would be the best way to display a crosstab??? The query doesn't look "professional" (not my words) enough

Can you export the data (i.e. your query that you want to crosstab) into Excel? I find Excel's pivot table wizard much more intuitive than Access's.
