CSV files help =0)

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Puuuurlease!

Hi erm, does anyone know how to make a CSV from an access database to export it to act! at all?
FAnk you all access guru's!!!!! =0)

You could export it as a text file and then name the exported file with the CSV extension.

DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, ,"YourTable", "C:\YourFile.csv"

Check out the help files for the TransferText method for more info.

UGHHH i tried that which would be great help etc! and many thanks for sharing! but for some reaosn it won't due it due to an 'invalid argument' how on earth do i sort that out??? ughhh i will be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO greatful if anyone can help me solve this!!!! x x x
 
AGHHHHH

when i asked the help wizard thingy it cam up witrh this. . .

" In Windows Control Panel, the Regional Settings property is set to a region that uses a character other than a period (.) as a decimal separator. The settings for properties in data access pages require that the decimal separator be a period for all languages.". . ..

erm what that mean in english???

Export as .txt file

DoCmd.TransferText, acExportDelim, ,"YourTable", "C:\YourFile.txt"

Then rename YourFile.txt to YourFile.csv
 
Not sure how you are formatting the code but this works for me...

DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, , "TableNameHere", "C:\ExportFile\Test" & ".csv", False
