do you guys know how I can formate an unbound text to show current year and also how can make the second unbound text show next year.

Hi,

have a look at the DatePart function in the access help, this should give you what you need.

Thanks but I do know DatePart for example to show the current year I put "yyyy" but what I'm trying to create is a matrix "calendar" I want to show for example 2004 2005 2006 and so on. I want all of them to change when I change the first year. I tried doing this way yyyy + 1 but it didn't work!1

Kodo,
I can't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Ok let me explaine I'm building a calendar for like ten years, so I put 10 unbound texts the first one in the control box I put date() then In the formate I put "yyyy" so this is showing me 2004 which is greate, now I want to show the second text box 2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010.
how can i do this?

example:

Me.DateBox2 = Year(DateAdd("yyyy", 1, Me.DateBox1))

Why re-invent the wheel? Access comes with an activex cal control and others have posted examples of their own here. :confused:
