Custom date format in a report (1 Viewer)

This ought to be very simple, but I've been searching online for quite some time and can't find how to add today's date to a report formatted as "August 30, 2014." I can't understand why that's not one of the options when inserting a date.

Sorry if this is something that has been asked before--I couldn't find it.

I had tried something close but not close enough. I added another m to get the full month.
