Hi,

I have set up a database for my employer/friend, everything works greate.

I have had a go at setting up security (user level wizard) and have set permissions for the users i.e. read only and full permissions for myself, i assume i am 'Admin' so i can edit the database with no restrictions.

I have designed a custom toolbar that i want my users to see when they login and no other tools bars, i know i can hide but they can regain access by holding down shift.

How do i stop the users being able to access other toolbars permanetly, but still have full toolbars when i login as 'Admin'.

It seems i cant restrict the users without restricting myself, the user admin is the only user who is a member of 'admins'

I don't know can any help Please, i am new to it, and don't yet understand VB.

Many thanks Jon

I have posted quite a few threads about security, toolbars and disabling the Shift key. I suggest that you serach this forum using the Keyword [security, toolbars, shift] (one at a time) and for the User Name [ghudson] to see some of the examples and code I have posted.
