Customised Primary Key

I am wanting to set up a table with a custom primary key, with a similar format PRO**** I really want the **** to be numbers generated automatically. Is this possible?

If anyone could give me some help i would be greatful.

In the table design put "PRO"0000 in the Format property. The number will be stored as a long integer but will display as PRO0001, PRO0002, etc.

Would this not limit the PK to " PRO9999 " numbers? or would it allow "PRO10000"

Just curious as i am setting up a similar process.

Nope...it'll just keep on rolling...

After PRO9999 the next record will be PRO10000

To infinity and beyond!!!!!!!!!

Well, to 2 GB at least...
