It's called "Strictly Come Dancing" over here, its on as we eat on a Saturday and my guess is Ken watches it for the same reason as I, those pro lady dancers are very fit.

(the celebrity part is a bit of a stretch, I think I recognised one of the people on there as having been on a soap some years ago)

We in the UK can go one better as in one of our crappy reality shows, The Farm, there was a guy who was married to a soap actress put amongst the housemates. He looked really embarrassed to say what he does (i.e. a fireman by trade) when ther others asked him. But given that others in the house were an Italian porn star and someone who shagged David Beckham, their celebrity was pretty much a given.

And, in a Celebrity Big Brother they put some ditzy Paris Hilton lookalike, plucked from the public, in with the usual Z listers and that girl is now all over magazines all the time and is the subject of two (no doubt) vacuous biographies despite her only being in the show of January this year. As you would expect, she has no known talents.

As for the dancing, we've had two shows like this thus far. A third, if you include the one on ice. These sort of shows are clogging up televesion due to how cheap they are to make and the money they make via phone votes. It's for this alone that I have to praise The Ultimate Fighter 'reality' show, since there's no phone votes and contestants are eliminated by facing off against each other in a caged octagon. Good ol' MMA.

I guess the producers of that show.

they set up an 800 toll free number for the voting I believe,(I dont watch the show but my mother does should ask her), and I would assume the cost for the phone is in with the costs of film and production of the show.
