On this one, I need help. . . the issue is date comparisons
my company has a database which when run on my machine give the correct answer. I am running win XP, latest service pack, and Office 2003. The database is an Office 2000 database
I can save the database on the server, and another person will run the same process of queries, and get different answers because the other machine reads the dates differently.
The other machine is running the same winXP, latest service pack and Office 2003. . . (although I don't know about Office updates on the other computer)
I have had the other person set all the databases to use 4 digit years, but that has not made any difference. . .
what are we missing? are there differences in database updates which would cause the date differences?
thanks
