I did a very dumb thing. I split a access database that was already split and now the tables are lost "somewhere". This is one that I had secured using security wizard and creted a new WIF file. I had originally split the file with the tables on the network and the rest (queries, forms and reports on the local drive). then I had the need to add 3 more tables which I had done on the local drive and then split those tables off with the rest....should have worked...Right?
Nope.
I did something wrong! too eager to get it done as the pressure was on to incorporate the new tables for everyone.

Help

I think I am correct in saying that the Linked table manager will allow you to re-link tables that have been split. I haven't used it before so I don't know that much about it but thought it was worth mentioning. You can find it under Tools menu, Database utilities, Linked Table Manager.

Thanks, I'll try it. Access security sure seems like a nightmare about to happen if one is not careful.
