I have created a split db and use an MDE file for the frontend. Now my NT guy has created a script that runs when users login to their computers. It compares the date stamp of their local FE to the FE on the server. If the date stamp of the server FE is more recent then it copies it to create a new local FE.
Problem I'm running into is that somehow the date stamps on some of the local FEs is changing. And therefore the update is not working. I thought it would be impossible to change the date stamp on an MDE file due to the fact that everything has been locked down. Was my thinking incorrect? If so, does anyone know of a way to prevent this?
