Default Date format for Parameter Fields

Is there anyway to change the format for a paramater date field from yyyy-mm-dd to mm-dd-yyyy? Sure seems like this option should be able to be changed. Not really a normal format for users.

When I have used parameter prompts I have not been forced into that format, however to answer your question there is a Parameter clause in queries, it is the first, however it is easier to use in the design grid
Select query then Parameters from the menu and drop down and away you go.

Are you talking about Crystal Reports (as this is a CR question)? I've had it where the date requirement was to enter it that way. Not sure if it has to do with the dates in the underlying recordsource or something, but I have seen that in Crystal.
