I am building a database for 2 Nurses and an Admin Lady to monitor treatment for Alcohol abusers that end up in A&E! It has 4 tables so far
Patients details (PK=HospitalID) - Name/Address/DOB/Gender
Hospital Admissions (PK=EpisodeID) - Date Admitted/who admitted
GP Info (PK=GPID) - Gp Name/Adress/Telephone
Alcohol Nurse Treatment (PK= TreatmentID) - Assessment date/Outcome/Nurse/time spent with patient.
I have already got the pk joins work fine.
I have made a "view" form with 3 subforms that show patients details depending on the patient selected from the HospitalID combo box. this method of patient will suffice for now as they can searh on hospitalID which is always on the referral forms that land in the office!
I now need to build forms to Add/Edit and Delete records from each table ie
1 Add/Edit/Delete Patients and Add thier GPId and Admission record at the same time
2 Add/Edit/Delete GP's - this happens quite frequent for out of town patients. ie the list of GP's that the Nurses can select from.
3 Add/Edit/Delete Hospital Admissions (showing Patient details so they know they are on the right row) ideally as part of task 1 but separatly will do
4 Add/Edit/Delete Alcohol Nurse Activity (again showing the Patients details)
and for ease of use i want to move to the Add/Edit/Delete forms using the selected patient from the main form. (apart from edit GP's)
If I can all this working - I think I'll have a stiff drink!
