Hi,

I don't know if this is possible to do. i want to be able to display more than one record in one page and keep the same headings; I know it's very simple. But I went and created a report using the wizard and ticked "columnar". Now, I can only view one record at a time. If I want to see the next record, I have to press the "Next" button.

Is there any way to convert to tabular without recreating the whole report please?

Thank you,
B

Try changing the format of the report in design mode:
-double click on the detail section of the report
-goto format tab
-Set "Force New Page" to None.

Not sure, but hope it works.

No, that did not work. This an example of what I want to do.

Product No 1 2 3 4 5
Product Desc CD DVD Camera Shoes Clothing

In other words, I want the header to be on the left as I only want to print the headers Product No and Product Desc once. But print a limited number of records on each page.

Note: on the example above, numbers should be lined up with products, but I could not format them properly.

I hope this explains better what I wanted to say.
I want the headers section to be displayed vertically.

Please help,
B

Post a small db with your report design. I'll see if I can make it work for you

You can go to the properties of the form and select continuous forms from the default view property. This will alow you to show more than one record in columnar view.

edtab,

Here is a doc example that should hopefully explain what I want to do in a report.

The values on the left are labels that should be displayed only once on each page. and the values under person 1...person n are records.

Thank you,
B

I'm not sure you can generate a report from Access in the format
that you want where you are basically splitting the record fields
into headings and rows. Normally, you'll have the field names as
your headings or columns and record entries as your rows.

Perhaps other members would pick up your post and provide
a solution that had eluded me so far.
