I have a form titled Vendors and on the form I want a check box/button that has two options "Approved" and "Not Approved". Depending on which box is checked it will only display records (Vendors) that are approved or not approved. If no box is checked then I want all vendors to be viewable.

Whats the best/easiest way to acheive this? I am using Access 2010.

I would create an Option Group. Use Select Case in the After Update event of the Option Group to set the forms filter properties.
The attached db is a simplistic example.

Thanks bob fitz

I'll go through the source code of this example and apply it to my forms

Glad you found it useful. Post back if you need further help.

Hi Bob Fritz

Sorry the delay reply but i finally got some time to go back and work on that form.

Your example worked fine, and now my form filters the Approved/Unapproved Vendors.

To make searching and selection easier I have included a combo box that displays all of the vedor's names. Is there a way to tie in the combo box query with the filter settings set by the selection group??

Thanks
