DLookUp with a date range

There are 4 sorry:

Visual Basic for Applications
Microsoft 12.0 object library
OLE Automation
Microsoft Office 12.0 Access database engine object library

Well, in addition (in A2003), I've got

Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library
Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.1 Library (this would NOT be the problem)

Bob

Ok it says that the Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library

Name conflicts with existing module, project, or object library

Is there a later MS DAO Object Library (e.g. 3.7 or 3.8)?

Bob

Sorry I should have said that i created a testdb removing all references except those 3 and Year was ok, cannot remove 1st 2 and OLE was thought not to be the candidate, but just removed that and still ok, perhaps its 2007.

did you try my suggestion of a new simple test?

Brian

Then I'll have to confess to being out of ideas.
I would ask a question with a new thread citing the problem and stating that you are on 2007. Perhaps including a link to this thread.

Brian

You might try a Google on access DLL. There are a number of sites explaining possible DLL problems, most offering their own (not free) software downloads to resolve problems.

While I'm reluctant to recommend any particular product, this http://www.dllnerd.com/fix_dll.php?seed=Repair-DLL&gclid=CIWF7MSy6ZgCFRKLxwodNG2c1g site, which offers a fair explanation and endorses RegCure, an application I have, might be of interest. The full version invariably finds numerous problems, which it then claims to resolve. All I can say is that, after using it, there is normally a noticeable improvement in processing speed.

Good Luck - Bob
