do all users need access installed?

I'm learning access to write a database for a friend to use at work with 10 of her colleagues on their network.

Do they all need Access installed on their machines to use the database (enter data and run reports)?

they can use a "free" run time version though. run time is basically the full version with most of the menu bars and design features disabled
