I found this link:
http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cach...acking+the+CrossTab"&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us

(this is a highlighted link so you can find this file: Conf2003HankP--CrossTab.zip on the page).

It is supposed to be an example of an editable crosstab. It says you have to pay $40 to download the file, which I don't have a problem with, but I don't want to pay and then find out it is not what I am looking for. Has anyone worked with this file before, or know what it is about? Is it REALLY an editable crosstab? I thought they didn't actually exist . . .

No, you cant edit a crosstab query. You can fake it by doing an update on the table and executing the crosstab again.

You can't edit the data directly in the crosstab, save yourself the $40,- (sent it to burma instead)

What do you mean by "doing an update on the table"?

The CrossTab you are refering to is based on a regular table.
The crosstab can be either a table or a query. So update the underlying table and refresh the crosstab query.
