Do not want to print Blank query fields (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone

I am in the process of creating a report based on a query. I have created a database to collect references for a bibliography. Some of the fields in the query will appear blank depending on which record is looked at. When I generate the report I do not want a space for the blank query fields to appear.

This is not so tough. Look into the CanShrink Property of you Report Fields. This will allow you to hide the field and reclaim the space that it would have taken. There are some restrictions, which you may or may not find depending on your application. If you find that you can't achieve the look you want you may have to write some code in the OnFormat or onNoData event.
