DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet does not export all fields

Nothing to with my DB.

I wanted to be able to remove duplicates on memo fields. Your hero said it can't be done. It can be done. She is also the same on reordering appointments times across a row on ascending order, can't be done....it can be done.

You will also note that I erased the post you quoted, but you seem to want to make a shit fight out of something.

As usual your mind is so closed you can't see anything. My reference to the Political forum was the style of posting.

Anyway, glad to see you got a job

Oh, my .... Never in my right mind would I ever have thought that I would agree with Rich on something. But, after having read that 4 year old post, I've come to the realization that he is right.

I can see that this post is quickly becoming a repeat of that one in 2004. Just because something works doesn't make it right, or correct ('nough said, but if history is any indicator it won't die there).

It would die if Rich left it alone.

Rich(and some others) seem to be slaves to Access. On another thread where I have asked about an alternatibe to merging memo fields from several records (and with appropriate spacing) Rich's best effort is "why display it that way". I have a work around that replaces SendKeys. So I have two choices

1) Use my work around to have a display of the file notes that is best for us and has 100% sign off from gov't licensing. They do not like them to be tabular in display. Compliance bullshit.

2) Don't have the display because it needs a work around or SendKeys

Well that is a real easy choice for me.

I have asked the question at least a couple of times on this thread so I will try again....If I join 11 tables and for 10 of the tables only their most recent record is included then how will that run compared to using the table?

Bob,

This is the memo field thread. I attached two tables with specimen records to the thread. RoyVidar put up some code of which I have no idea how to use. Perhaps it does not work. Rich is a simple bail out.

I have the work around that was described and as you can see it came to me while on the thread. That needed (vista problem) to be fixed real quick. Not next week or next year etc.

Bob, perhaps as an Access developer your curiousity will get you to try the problem on the thread, without using SendKeys.

For the blokes here that say it is an education mission they might consider that this site has 50,000 members and you only need to travel a few pages on the members list before you are at posters with <100 postings and you need to come through lots of pages from the other end to get to >10 postings. Education is great, but not much good if there is no one to educate.

Bob,

I will kill the thread. Rich can have a win. It is obvious that Rich's desire for me not to post is about 100 times greater than my desire to post. The solution is both obvious, simple and quick.:)
