Hi,
I'm preparing a best mans speech for a wedding in June. Half of the guests are Italian and most of them do not speak English and regrettably I do not speak Italian.
So I decided the best way forward is to learn a few phrases for the introduction and finish and do the rest as a powerpoint presentation using pictures, clipart and a few graphics I have commissioned to tell some stories.
The idea is I can relate the story for the benefit of the English guests but have sub titles on the presentation for the benefit of the Italian guests.
The sub titles will be short phrases like 'One, day, while walking in the woods' etc. (still under development!)
I've tried using the online translators but they seem to lack 'passion' and miss inuendo - perhaps because they are short phrases.
So, is there anyone out there who would be happy to translate? There are about 10-15 slides which, allowing for transitions will probably equate to around 30 phrases. I can supply the powerpoint presentation with the English phrases (Office 2010 tho' can probably save as an earlier version - I don't think I am using anything that won't save).
Happy to pay something for their time, charity donation, etc or buy them a beer if they are in the UK!
