Hi All,
I have a report that does some calculations based off of one very simple table. Basically I have a few collections of scored based off of quizes and tests; some are averages and some are there to display just the one score. I then have two text boxes underneath programmed with some IIF formulas to display certain words, "Exceptional", "Sucessful", etc. depending on the score. This has worked for each of my categories except one.

I have double checked the formatting in the table, the form, and the control on the report. It is the same as the rest and yet it still displays "unsucessful for a score above 95%, which is not correct. It also seems to display things based on the entire column rather than individual records which is not correct either. I have used the same formula throughout each of the boxes and canNOT figure out why this is happening...

I would really appreciate a fresh set of eyes on this as I have been staring at it for far to long. I have attached for ease of investigation..

Thanks in advance...

See if this gives you the desired result:

=IIf([txtweeklyquiz]>=0.95,"Exceptional",IIf([txtweeklyquiz]>=0.8,"Successful",IIf([txtroleplayavg]>=0.75,"Partially Successful","Unsuccessful")))

Thanks for the response pbaldy! It's closer haha but scores of 95% are still showing just successful instead of 'exceptional'. I've attached the updated... I even tried changing .95 to .949999 to see if that helped.. no dice.

Try temporarily displaying more digits in your percentages; in my test some were 94.57 types of things. Perhaps you want a Round() function in your calculation?

That would make sense!! I fixed it by putting >=.945 and did that for the rest of them to... whew. Thanks so much for your help! I will be using this simplified formula for the others as well :)
