EXT - What is it?!?

Hi,

In my database, this EXT thing keeps switching itself on....and I don't know what it is, or how to switch it off - it is VERY annoying!

Basically, when you try to select some text in a text box - it will start selecting from the end....and no where else!

I have attached a screenshot of the EXT thing in the bottom right of the screen.

PLEASE help!

Extending a selection-Press F8 To turn on Extend mode (EXT appears in the lower right corner of the window);

pressing F8 repeatedly extends the selection to the word, the field, the record (in Datasheet view only), and all records
To undo the previous extension SHIFT+F8
To cancel Extend mode ESC

Also make sure that the selection setting under Tools/Options/Keyboard is set to beginning of field or whole field, whicheever you prefer.
