Give me a break...

Kind of like who was in the superbowl... In 6 weeks we'll be pressed to remember who the losing vp candidate was...:p

Don't bother hi-jacking all the threads and pasting your pro-Obama sewage on my behalf as I, and I'm guessing 90% of everybody else around here don't bother reading them anymore...:)

For what it's worth....
Exxon paid record TAXES on that record profit.

That's true, but other countries are charging exxon quite a bit more on their tax bill than we do - we give them lots of tax cuts, and McCain wants them to have even more tax cuts. I just wonder why a company that is making so much needs any tax cuts at all? Seems like they could afford to pay the undiscounted tax bill.

I hadn't gotten around to bringing him up yet on this thread, but now that you mention it :D

I'll just be glad when you shut up about it all...:)

And look what people in those countries are paying for a gallon of gas.
No thank you.

The reason they pay more for gas is because their gasoline taxes are higher than ours, it isn't because exxon pays higher taxes on it's profits.

I'll try to avoid your posts until then, maybe I won't need a barf bag... ;)

You could never stand my posts before the election either, so I'm not sure it will be safe when the election is over. It's probably safer to just steer clear altogether. Or maybe they could add a throwing up emoticon to the options.
