I have created a payroll system for a company employing around 100 employees. To login each employee enters an employee number and his password. The snag is that employees can exchange these details to clock in or clock out for each other.

Has anyone used some type of facial recognition software instead of a password for a similar purpose? If in the affirmative can I have some guidance please.

Many thanks.

*blink*

And I thought that needing a password, a keyfob, and a thumb scanner for my PC at one employer was rough....

So in your place they have not yet introduced anal probes?

Oh, I don't work there any more, but I sort of worried about that myself.

In their defense, it was a defense contractor, and my office was in a section where, in order to even get inside, you needed either a secret or higher level clearance (most of us had TS/SCI), or to be escorted by someone with one. In the latter case, the department needed ten minutes' warning to make sure all secret information was locked up.
