The irony; given the chance Tlaib wouldn't hesitate for one second, to put her Republican "
defenders' in jail should it serve Democratic party objectives. While one should consider the morality of certain actions, it can also be suicidal in outcome. What good is it to stand on a moral principle, when your opponent is out to defeat you no matter what (even to the extent of lying and abusing police powers). Democrats have never questioned the unjustified impeachment of Trump and the continuing use of the FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement entities to persecute those opposed to the Biden administration. Pelosi ran the House in an autocratic fashion never abiding by due-process and whimsically removing certain Republicans from committees. Standing on principle, while good, needs to be compromised at times for mere survival. How these Republicans could "
support" someone who would do them injustice, given the chance, is incomprehensible.
